For our prospective guests who would like to be a little more independent, we have recently renovated part of the main house to incorporate Rainors Cottage Suite

Available for short breaks, week stays or more, Rainors Cottage Suite will sleep four comfortably in one double room with a super-king size bed and a twin room with two single beds and there is room for an extra two guests to sleep on a double sofa bed in the lounge area

All beds are made up for you with fresh white cotton bed linen and all we ask is that you bring your own towels and toiletries

The Cottage Suite is centrally heated throughout, has a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, a fully functional Quaker style kitchen, workspace area for laptop etc. and a separate utility/drying room very close by with washing machine, Sheila-Maid clothes airer and heated boot rack - to keep all that grubby holiday laundry from invading your space

There is a DVD player complete with family DVD’s and free Wi-Fi

Rainors Cottage Suite has glorious views of the spectacular Wasdale landscape and a patio area with picnic bench to sit out and admire the views. A charcoal BBQ is available if required

Parking is at the front of the house and there is also safe storage for bikes etc.

Although we can accept dogs in the B&B unfortunately this is not possible in the cottage suite. We do however recommend Broadwater Farm Kennels approximately 20 minutes away in Bootle, tried and tested by our previous guests.
